Fish Fry is an easy-to-make recipe and takes very little cooking time. Fish Fry is the easiest starter recipe, which can be prepared without a putting in much efforts. Fish Fry is an instant hit with fish lovers and Bengalis. This is amazing starter recipe and the same recipe can be followed using boneless fish as well.

  • 1 kg Rohu fish (रोहू मछली)
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric powder(चम्मच हल्दी पाउडर)
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder(चम्मच लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
  • Salt to taste (नमक स्वाद अनुसार)
  • 2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste ( चम्मच अदरक-लहसुन का पेस्ट)
  • 1 cup oil to fry (तलने के लिए तेल)


In a bowl add fish,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt as per taste, ginger garlic paste and mix well and Keep aside for half an hour. Heat 1 cup oil in a deep fry pan to shallow fry the fish pieces. Place the fish pieces carefully and keep the flame medium. Fry until golden brown from both side. Take the fish pieces out and place them on an absorbent paper Fish fry is ready,serve hot.


एक कटोरे में मछली, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, हल्दी पाउडर, स्वादानुसार नमक, अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट डालें,अच्छी तरह मिलाएं और आधे घंटे के लिए अलग रख दें I मछली को तलने के लिए एक कड़ाही में तेल गरम करें I मछली के टुकड़ों को सावधानी से डालें और आंच को मध्यम रखें I दोनों तरफ से सुनहरा भूरा होने तक तलें I मछली के टुकड़ों को बाहर निकालें और एक शोषक कागज पर रखें I तली मछली तैयार है, गर्म – गर्म परोसें
